Ty Gibson

The Sonship of Christ | The Heavenly Trio

John 3:16-17 (KJV)

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.”

Ty Gibson is a well known Seventh-day Adventist speaker and is the director for Light Bearers ministry. He is also a pastor and a writer. While many subjects that Ty Gibson speaks upon are presented and researched well, unfortunately there are a few foundational ideas, regarding the personality of God and His Son, which we know are in direct contradiction with the Bible and the inspired writings of Ellen G. White.

This page is here to address some contradictory ideas made by Ty Gibson in his books, “The Sonship of Christ” and “The Heavenly Trio,” in regard to the pre-incarnate, divine, only-begotten, Sonship of God’s beloved Son. Ty Gibson publically, and in his book, denies the factual, literal Sonship of God’s Son, prior to His incarnation on earth, and is a strong proponent of the trinity doctrine—three divine persons who are mysteriously one divine being called God.
